Welcome
Welcome to Oz.
This isn't the Oz of your childhood. This is the Oz of recently-deposed dictators, of slightly-crazy old maunts... this is the Oz where things happened differently. This is the Oz of Wicked.
No One Mourns the Wicked is a post-Wicked RP, based off the musical, the book and some of L. Frank Baum's original Oz books. We welcome both original characters and canonical ones, and encourage all of you to enter this 'merry old land' of Oz.
Coding and graphics are courtesy of Nessarose and our first Glinda. We don't own any aspect of Wicked, save for any original characters that are created here.

The Rules « Thread Started on Jun 8, 2008, 2:10am »
General Rules 1. No spamming outside of the Spam Board Lest you feel my wrath. I'm pretty adept at smiting rule-breakers. 2. All OOC dialogue must be differentiated from normal dialogue It's preferred if you do it in the chatbox, which is at the side of the page, but... if you must do it in the RP proper, you should separate it from the rest of the dialogue with ((something like this)). 3. Respect other posters' boundaries Don't announce where people live, their real names or any other information like that. 4. Shorthand and 1337 are discouraged. Neither of those writing styles fit in here. Please make an attempt to spell properly!
Roleplaying rules 1. No godmodding In other words, don't make your character the most powerful thing in the world. Everyone gets hurt eventually and everyone is capable of missing. You godmod, I beat you to death with the Grimmerie. 2. No powerplaying That, essentially, means that controlling another person's character in your post - unless they've given you permission - is a big no-no. Throwing a punch doesn't mean it'll hit! 3. Your posts must be substantial At least give us something to respond to. If we can't respond to anything in your post, and it's not the ending of a thread, I will personally give you a kicking and then hit you with a copy of 'Jane Eyre'. 4. Use posting orders If there are more than two people in a thread, you should implement a posting order. Say myself and two others were in a thread... the posting order would be myself, then person #1, then person #2 and it would repeat in that fashion. 5. Remember to check your spelling before posting Stupid misspellings can severely dent anyone's reputation, especially if you consistently spell your own character's name wrong. 6. No double-posting Just edit your previous post. It's that simple. This rule, for obvious reasons, doesn't apply in the 'Character Journals' forum.
