Welcome to Oz.
This isn't the Oz of your childhood. This is the Oz of recently-deposed dictators, of slightly-crazy old maunts... this is the Oz where things happened differently. This is the Oz of Wicked.

No One Mourns the Wicked is a post-Wicked RP, based off the musical, the book and some of L. Frank Baum's original Oz books. We welcome both original characters and canonical ones, and encourage all of you to enter this 'merry old land' of Oz.

Physical Description:

-Hair and Face-

Fiyero used to have short brown hair that was always kept trimmed and neat, as that was the way a Winkie Prince had to look. His face was a bit heart shaped, ending with a rounded chin at the bottom and flat cheeks. His nose is medium sized, smaller than the usual, but it's not that noticeable. His eyes are light, a mix between green and blue and they were notorious for their effect on women. His mouth has thin lips that hide his shining teeth when he's not smiling.

-Body-

Fiyero was lean and in excellent shape after many years of playing some sports along with having a personal trainer that his parents offered when he couldn't be in attendance at school and missed gym classes. Unlike most Winkies, his skin can be thought pale, or milky white and this is due to being inside for a lot of his childhood, hidden from the strong Vinkus sun. Overall, Fiyero was subtly muscular the arms, legs and torso. Height-wise Fiyero is the average height for an Ozian male.

-Hair and Face-

After Elphaba turned Fiyero into a scarecrow, he got everything that a scarecrow would have for a face. His eyes, mouth and ears are all painted on with blue and black paint. The once smooth skin of the Prince had became rough for it was burlap. His hair had become straw, that hung down from another a hat, similar to the style of his hair as it was when he was human.

-Body-

Fiyero's new body is limp and almost lifeless except for the fact that it can move. The straw sticks out in some places, so it can be awkward to touch him in some places, but no one really minds. Fiyero's new found form is tall and thin, similar to his old figure except his stomach is bigger thanks to it being stuffed with straw. He still has the habits and thoughts of his old body, as well.

Clothing:

Before he was changed into a Scarecrow, Fiyero often wore the most stylish Ozian clothes. As a Prince he was required to keep up with the latest styles and he could easily afford a whole wardrobe. But casually he wore a simple uniform that he wore that consisted of a white shirt, red vest and tan pants. When he was appointed as the Head of the Gale Force, he wore the green uniform with gold trim. After the transformation, Fiyero still wore the uniform, but it was tattered from traveling across Oz and from when they hung him on the pole. He was able to be re-stuffed and given new clothes that were considered more “swankified.”

Fiyero's hobbies are limited, since most of his life he was just relaxing and partying. So basically that, but after he matured a little more, he likes to explore unknown places, being the Scarecrow gave him a chance to do that. Also he likes helping out the Animals and their cause (thanks to Elphaba mainly, oops, bio spoiler.)believing that nobody in Oz should be treated differently based on their appearance. (Being the Scarecrow as well as Elphaba helped him realize that.) Other hobbies include relaxing with Elphaba on quiet nights.

Overall Personality:

Fiyero, when he was younger, was very shallow and didn't have much of a deep personality. He was the boy next door that every girl loved and wanted to be with. He had the perfect house, the perfect hair, the perfect clothes, just everything was so peachy keen...on the outside that is. Inside he was very hurt over his lost chance at being who he wanted to be. Unfortunately, while others loved his mask, he slowly became self loathing himself more. Then Elphaba came along and in a weak moment when he was truly Fiyero, she liked him better than the Fiyero that Galinda loved. This is when Fiyero's turned into a more serious and mature man, who thought for himself and began seeing the world and life for what they truly were and not big parties. Glinda was not ready for this Fiyero, he could tell, but Elphaba was and he loved her for it. In those years he became more passionate about thought and core beliefs of his own, making him a better person overall.

History:
Fiyero Tigelaar was born in the castle of Kiamo Ko into the royal family of the Arjiki tribe. His mother, Baxiana, was the daughter of the King of the Arjiki Tribe and she had married the heir to the Scrow crown, Marillot, in a business arrangement set by their parents. Fiyero was going to be the one to take over the throne after his father died and if his parents produced another child, they would rule over the Scrow. Shortly after his birth, Fiyero's grandfather died and his father took over the rule and began to neglect his wife and son. Baxiana and Fiyero spent a lot of time around the castle while the King was away and Fiyero began to despise his father for it, especially when he could easily work around his schedule to spend more time with them, but didn't.

His mother became too upset to live without her husband, so she purchased a castle in all provinces of Oz so she could keep close to him, taking Fiyero along with her. They left Kiamo Ko with all the servants and they wouldn't return for the rest of Fiyero's childhood. They spent a lot of time in Gillikin, where Baxiana found Marillot was carrying on an affair with a common Gillikinese woman, Lydyana. She confronted her husband about it and it ended with her losing her title and being shunned out of the Arjiki and Scrow tribes, never to return and receive forgiveness. She left Fiyero with Marilott with a broken heart and began a new life in Munchkinland as a farmer's wife.

This all happened before Fiyero was five years old, and explains why he would despise his father for the rest of his years. He married Lydyana and never spent time with Fiyero, giving him a succession of nannies and governesses to look after him. He told them there was one rule, “Let him do what he wants, as long he doesn't disturb me.” This led to the nannies giving Fiyero what ever he asked and allow him to get away with anything he wanted. But Fiyero did not want this power, he wanted his mother and his father to return to him and love him...even if that meant getting attention in a bad way.

Fiyero began his life of partying and goofing off, trying to get his father to notice him, but it was no use, he was too busy running the Arjiki tribe, spending time with his new wife and loving their child. Yes, when Fiyero was seven they gave birth to another child, a daughter named Asheah, whom Fiyero would grow to loathe. He continued a streak of trouble making, eventually becoming expelled from every boarding school in Gillikin and Emerald City. Finally he reached college age and then got kicked out of every major university, until he was sent to Shiz. Fiyero was given a choice, either stay at Shiz or lose his title to Asheah, which made Fiyero not want to leave Shiz, but he also didn't want to lose attention.

On his first day, Fiyero had gotten the whole student body to go to a dance being held at the Ozdust, won the heart of Galinda Upland of the Upper Uplands and continued his “scandalacious” reputation. At that dance, however, he laid eyes on the green girl Elphaba and her careless of other people thoughts attitude. He would see her again in History class under a make over done by Galinda and wonder why she did it when she was fine the way she was. That same class, Dr. Dillamond was fired and a new teacher put in, who had kept a Lion cub in a cage. Elphaba cast a spell on everyone to make them dance like Jitterbugs as she and him stole the cage to release the Lion into the forest. At the forest, they touched hands and recognized feelings for each other, not knowing each other felt the same way. When Elphaba was leaving for the Emerald City, Fiyero never thought he'd see her again and feared that he would never grow as a person.

After Elphaba disappeared, he and Glinda continued to their courtship and were eventually, against Fiyero's will, engaged. Fiyero, in that time, became head of the Gale Force and led the search for Elphaba, know called a Wicked Witch. Then when Elphaba made another appearance in the Emerald City, she met with him and Galinda, a meeting that would end with Fiyero running off with Elphaba. They spent a night in the Great Gillikin Forest, but were separated when Elphaba feared a threat was upon Nessa's life. Nessa would be killed by a run away farm house and would help the Gale Force capture Elphaba, but Fiyero sacrificed his freedom for hers and was hung in a cornfield on a pole to die. A spell cast by his love would turn him into a Scarecrow and he wouldn't be able to die.

Soon after his transformation, he saw a young girl walk up the Yellow Brick Road and she was shocked to see him talk. Her name was Dorothy and she had come from a world known as “Can-sas” which was not apart of Oz. She said she was going to see the Wizard and Fiyero realized that he would be able to get to Glinda and ask her for help in finding Elphaba, he knew she was at Kiamo Ko for he sent her there to use it as a hideout. He went with Dorothy under the false story of wanting a brain and would travel across Munchkinland and he would meet a talking man out of tin and a cowardly lion. When they reached Emerald City, Fiyero didn't expect to be sent to Kiamo Ko instead. The bad news was, it was to kill Elphaba and he knew that these people would commit murder to get their wishes, which mad Fiyero fear for Elphaba. He sent world to her warning her of the danger and a plan to save herself using the rumor that water would melt her.

We all know how that story goes, so let's skip ahead to the present. Oz is in turmoil under the reign of Ozma Tippitarius and the Gale Force and he and Elphaba are together in hiding. Fiyero is currently trying to act as a friend and ally to Ozma, but he is secretly working for Elphaba as well as a group of people wishing to overthrow her. Fiyero is committed to helping him and Elphaba get out of hiding so they can live in Oz as regular citizens. Being human again wouldn't be so bad either, though.
